This agate was found during the winter of 2013, south of Pebble Rock in shingle surrounding an area of numerous rocky outcrops. It displays a mix of some lovely colours, with platelets of pink and orange composing segregation banding through grey-green chalcedony with white and grey black areas caused by exposure to the mineral-rich gravel and seawater, with a deep crimson centre, also composed of pigment-platelets. It has become an obvious favourite of mine, from the moment of its discovery.
