Agate Scotland

This "eye" agate resembles a Fairburn agate from the state of Dakota in America. There is another rockpool in the Usan area I have taken to calling "The Blue Pool". It has proven to be a highly productive spot, and even though there have been times I have not found anything there of particular merit, it is always worth a visit and I generally find myself there early on if I am on a Usan jaunt. Despite the obvious fractures, I think you will agree that this is a strongly marked and finely coloured piece.
