I picked-up this agate in another area of Kintyre, within the general location of Carskey Bay, again during the May of 2015. Buried in the dry sand, it was only identified by some visible fortification banding on the outside of the nodule. Full of abstractions of mossy and quartzite inclusions, the stone is also a fair-bit larger than is average. The area of orange and blue-grey fortifications that alerted me to this stone's provenance, is visible in the upper-right section of the face.
