Agate Scotland

This is another example of a particular species of stone found at the same location as the first stone photographed in this section of my website. It's far more diminutive than that goliath, but I enjoy the mistiness of its lilac-pink and blue-grey patterns. Heavily weathered and waterworn, the markings visible on the outside of the stone were perhaps more attractive than those contained within! A regular occurrence in the experience of a beach-comber.
