This agate was found close to the waterfall located north of St Cyrus beach in July 2015. These are strong colours for stones from the area, and not encountered often. This stone also displays an unusual central structure above an area of onyx banding. On the other half of this stone, this central structure also shows onyx banding within its fortifications. A shame it is not complete then, and a shame about the large crack. However, I am happy with it as it is, I think it is still a lovely piece.
