Jasp-agates at Lunan Bay are highly varied, and this is a small example. They range up to 20 centimetres across. Though larger jasp-agates do occur at this location, they are distinct material. They usually contain similar markings though their colouration can range through pastel hues as well as those more vivid tones seen in the piece above.
